Return on investment (ROI)

ROI can be difficult to calculate for an ERP project.  Software costs are easy to identify, even implementation costs, but the return can be a bit trickier to calculate.    If you can't sell it to the board or approver (s), all the effort by the evaluation team during the software search could be a risk if the project is not approved.
